The String Room

From a solo cello to an entire string section we can lift your tracks, whether they are demos or masters let us bring them to the next level in audio production. The String Room offers singers, musicians and writers a unique way to enhance their music. The String Room offers Film Composers a quick and creative way to add strings, orchestral instruments or any sounds to their soundtracks. We can do this all remotely.

The String Room is a large, great recording studio. It also serves as a composition, arranging and orchestrating centre. We are a team of composers, musicians and technicians based at the String Room recording studio in Toronto, Canada.

Simply tell us what you are looking for, send us your tracks and for a great rate we will write, perform, record the arrangement and send back the completed recording. We also offer to rent the studio at great rates for your band or ensemble. The studio floor has three isolation booths and the control room is large and comfortable. There is a lounge, kitchenette, loading area and parking.

Juno Award winning creator and Musical Director for Bowfire, violinist, composer Lenny Solomon and cellist/composer Wendy Solomon, well known for her Cello-Quartet LUSHcellos  along with composers, orchestrators Shelly Berger and Bill Bridges are now offering a budget minded way to fill and complete your tracks. Recording vocals, rhythm sections, horns, editing, mixing and contracting are also part of what The String Room offers. Our equipment includes, Pro Tools, Logic,  24 track TOFT audio console, top of the line mics and preamps as well as a selection of backline instruments and amps.
